Stems somewhat zigzag upward, glabrous or yellowish pubescent. Leaves unequal in each pair, the smaller about 1/3 to 2/3 of the larger in size; petiole 0.5–1.5 cm, sparsely pubescent or glabrous; leaf blades elliptic, elliptic‑lanceolate, ovate, papery, the larger ones 4–15 × 1.5–4.5 cm, the smaller ones 1.5–2.5 × 0.5–1.5 cm, base cuneate or attenuate, apex acuminate or caudate, margin serrulate, adaxially dark green, white appressed pubescent, cystoliths slightly prominent, lineolate, abaxially glabrous, or whitish pubescent along the veins, with or without multicellular hairs, lateral veins 5–7 pairs. Spikes terminal or axillary, very compact, head‑like, subspherical in outline, 2–3‑flowered, usually 1–3 forming a forked panicle. Peduncles ca. 2.5 cm(花梗長約2.5厘米), glabrous or pubescent. Bracts ovate‑elliptic, 1–1.3 cm, apex acute or acuminate, glabrous, caducous; bracteoles lanceolate, ca. 5 mm, caducous. Calyx 7–9 mm, accrescent to 15–17 mm, 5‑lobed almost to the base; lobes lanceolate, glandular pubescent. Corolla purple‑red, 3 – 4 cm, slightly curved, outside subglabrous or sparsely pilose, inside glabrous except for hairs retaining the style, tube‑base cylindric, ca. 5 mm, ventricose and gradually widened to ca. 1.5 cm at mouth; lobes subequal, orbicular, 5–6 mm in diam., apex emarginate. Stamens 4, didynamous, included; filaments glabrous, the longer pair unequal, erect, 5–7 mm, the shorter pair equal, incurved, ca. 2 mm; anther spherical, ca. 1 mm in diam. Ovary pilose, 2 ovules in each locule; style ca. 3.5 cm, pilose. Capsule oblong‑clavate, 1.4–1.8 cm, glandular‑pubescent, 4‑seeded. Seeds lenticular, ca. 2.5 × 2.5 mm, pubescent. FoC Herbs 40-150 cm tall, perennial, much branched, isophyllous or anisophyllous. Stems apically somewhat zigzag, glabrous or yellowish pubescent. Petiole 0.5-1.5 cm, sparsely pubescent or glabrous; leaf blade elliptic, elliptic-lanceolate, ovate, oblong, or oblong-elliptic, 1.5-15 × 0.5-4.5 cm, smaller of pair 1/3-2/3 size of larger one, adaxially dark green, white appressed pubescent, and with slightly prominent cystoliths, abaxially glabrous or whitish pubescent along veins and with or without multicellular trichomes, secondary veins 5-7 on each side of midvein and sometimes forming a net near margin, base cuneate to attenuate, margin serrulate, apex acuminate, caudate, or acute. Inflorescences axillary or terminal, headlike spikes, subspherical, very compact, 2- or 3-flowered, usually 1-3 spikes forming a forked panicle; peduncle ca. 2.5 cm, glabrous or pubescent; bracts ovate-elliptic, 1-1.3 cm, caducous, glabrous, apex acute to acuminate; bracteoles lanceolate, ca. 5 mm, caducous. Calyx 7-9 mm, accrescent to 1.5-1.7 cm, 5-lobed almost to base; lobes lanceolate, gland-tipped pubescent, one lobe slightly longer than others. Corolla violet, 3-4 cm, slightly curved, outside subglabrous to sparsely pilose, inside glabrous except for trichomes retaining style; tube basally cylindric and ca. 2 mm wide for ca. 5 mm then ventricose and gradually widened to ca. 1.5 cm at mouth; lobes orbicular, 5-6 mm in diam., subequal, apex emarginate. Stamens 4, included; filaments glabrous; shorter filament pair ca. 2 mm, equal, incurved; longer filament pair 5-7 mm, unequal, erect; anther thecae spherical, ca. 1 mm in diam.; pollen type 3. Ovary pilose; style ca. 3.5 cm, pilose. Capsule oblong-clavate, 1.4-1.8 cm, gland-tipped pubescent, 4-seeded. Seeds ca. 2.5 × 2.5 mm, lenticular, pubescent. Fl. Aug-Feb(-Apr). Strobilanthes dimorphotricha has mistakenly been considered to be synonymous with Goldfussia (= Strobilanthes) penstemonoides by many authors. 中國植物誌: 草本。莖高達1米多，近梢部多作“之”字形曲折。葉不等大，橢圓形，橢圓狀披針形，先端長漸尖，基部楔形漸狹，邊緣有鋸齒或柔軟胼胝狹鋸齒，上部各對一大一小，兩面有不明顯的鐘乳體，無毛，上面深暗綠色，被白色伏貼的微柔毛，背面灰白色，除中脈被硬伏毛外光滑無毛，明顯地散生頂端極狹而具2-3節的毛，側脈5- 6對，有近平行小脈相連；大葉長4-15厘米，寬1.5-4.5厘米，葉柄長約1.2厘米，小葉長1.3-2.5厘米。 花序頭狀，近球形，為苞片所包覆，1-3個生於一總花梗，每頭具2-3朵花；苞片近圓形或卵狀橢圓形，外部的長1.2-1.5厘米，先短漸尖，無毛；小苞片微小，二者均早落。花萼裂片5，條狀披針形，長7-9毫米，結果時增長至15-17毫米，有腺毛。花冠紫紅色，長約4厘米，稍彎曲，冠簷裂片5，幾相等，頂端微凹。雄蕊無毛，前雄蕊達花冠喉部，後雄蕊達花冠中部。花柱幾不伸出。 蒴果長圓狀棒形，長14-18毫米，有腺毛。種子4粒，有毛。 | |
