| 備註: 2015.5.5@CU FoHK 標室學名: Vernonia elliptica Large sprawling woody lianas climbing over fences and trees up to 4 – 5 m high; branchlets, lower leaf‑surfaces and inflorescences silvery hairy. Leaves on flowering shoots petiolate, petioles curved, 2 – 5 mm, densely silky, leaf blade oblong‑elliptic, 2.5 – 9.5 × 1 – 6 cm, base and apex rounded or obtuse, glabrous or bearing little sericeous hair adaxially, densely covered with appressed silky hair abaxially, reticulate veins and midvein elevated on both surfaces. Capitulum subsessile, with 4 – 5 florets each, 3 – 6 capitula forming a stalked cluster, subtended by a diminutive leaf (prophyll). Involucres subcylindric, 3 – 4 × 1.5 – 2 mm; phyllaries herbaceous, imbricate, 4‑seriate, ciliate along margin; the outermost ones ovate, 1.5 × 1 mm, glandular and puberulent on abaxial surfaces, apex obtuse; length and width increases gradually inward; innermost ones obovate‑oblong, apex obtuse to rounded, 3 × 1.5 mm, glandular and hairy near apex. Florets white, tinged pink in bud or when first open, corolla 5 – 6, narrowly funnelform with upper half broaden, 1/3 divided into 5 lanceolate lobes and glandular outside; anther tube honey‑coloured, base sagittate, apical appendage ovate‑lanceolate; style white, base globose, attached to a brown glandular disk, distal end branched and recurved, the abaxial side of the branches bristly, apex acute‑acuminate. Cypsela glossy brown, 2.5 mm, 4 – 5‑ribbed, densely glandular. Pappus greyish to brownish white, persistent, unequal, the outer ones shorter, the inner ones equal to the corolla tube in length, radiating with diam. 0.8 – 1 cm. | |
