| 備註: FOHK: Erect to scandent perennial herbs or shrubs, with cystoliths. Leaves opposite, subsessile to petiolate, margin entire to crenuate, coloured on the veins. Flowers usually large and conspicuous, solitary or more often fasciculate, forming terminal heads, spikes or racemes. Bracts large or small, free, rarely partly connate; bracteoles 2. Calyx deeply 5‑lobed; lobes subequal to unequal in size. Corolla yellow, orange, red or purple; tube cylindric or ± expanded distally, limb subactinomorphic, 5‑lobed; lobes small, often recoiled, contorted in bud. Stamens 2, usually exserted; anthers 2‑thecous; thecae equal in size, parallel, longitudinally ciliate, mucronate at base, dehiscing towards lower lip; staminodes 2. Ovary 2‑locular, 3–4 ovules per locule; style usullay exserted; stigma 2‑lobed; lobes unequal. Capsule estipitate, linear‑ellipsoidal, retinacula present, 6–8‑seeded. Seeds lenticular. About 60 species native to tropical America; two species cultivated in China; one species in Hong Kong. | |
